My Story

Hi, I’m Michelle — and I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’re looking for a perfect bio with polished labels and tidy titles… well, that’s not really my

style.

I’m many things to many people: a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a loyal friend, a cheerleader,

a truth-teller, a gentle challenger, a coach, a guide, a coach and a hypnotherapist — and sometimes,

all of those in a single day.

But above all, I’m deeply human. And I show up as the most authentic version of me, always.

Friends and family would probably describe me as slightly kooky, fiercely loyal, up for a laugh, dependable to the core, and maybe just a little bit rebellious.  My clients would tell you I’m kind, honest, compassionate, and totally there for them — someone who walks beside them, listens deeply, and isn't afraid to challenge lovingly when it’s needed most.

I’m someone who sees you — not just who you are, but who you’re becoming.

A Life Full of Layers

I grew up in Cambridge in the 70s and 80s, caring for my disabled mum and younger brother from an early age.  I’ve always been a carer, a doer, a fixer — the one people turn to when things get tough.  That instinct to nurture and hold space is stitched into my very being.

After school, I studied Business and Finance, then set my sights on studying Law at Essex University — despite every obstacle you can imagine.  A council estate kid, raised by a single mum, who underwent major spinal surgery as a young teenager?  Yep, that was me. Stubborn, determined, and totally unwilling to let life tell me “no.”

I met my husband when I was 18, we bought our first house at 20, and we moved to Nottingham at 22 with no job and no safety net — just a deep trust in myself and a belief that I’d figure it out.  And I did.

Four weeks later, I was working in IT at a local hospital.  That was the start of a 30-year career in the NHS, climbing the ladder into management, leading teams, leading projects, managing a GP practice, and even steering a merger right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.  It was a wild ride — filled with uncertainty, pressure, and yes, a fair share of burnout.

Burnout Wasn’t the End — It Was My Beginning

I didn’t recognise it at first — not the first time, not the second, and not even the third.  Burnout came for me in disguise: as exhaustion, numbness, over giving, and a sense that I’d lost something essential… myself.

It was only at 50, in the aftermath of my third big burnout, that I finally stopped.  Really stopped.  And that’s when I found coaching — or maybe it found me.

Through the care and compassion of the coaches I worked with, I began to peel back the layers, take off the masks, and come home to myself.  I found clarity, strength, and a kind of freedom I didn’t even know I was missing.  Most importantly, I discovered my purpose: helping others navigate their own healing journeys with grace, power, and integrity.

From Burnout to Bold Living

In 2023, I did something brave (and slightly terrifying): I left my career in the NHS and followed the pull in my heart.  With the support                                                                 of my family, I launched my own business and trained as a coach and hypnotherapist.

Now, I get to do what lights me up — supporting others as they reclaim their lives, reconnect with                                                                                      who they truly are, and create bold, beautiful, balanced futures.

I still love crafting, reading, learning, and chatting with strangers in supermarket queues (yep, I’m                                                                                   that woman people spill their hearts to without warning!). And yes, I’m still a bit of a rebel — I                                                                                         bend rules, challenge limits, and say “watch me” when told I can’t.

Because here’s the truth:      We all deserve to live lives that feel deeply aligned, wildly alive,                                                                                      authentically, and  unapologetically ours.

If you’re ready to rediscover your spark — I’d be honoured to walk beside you.
