Hypnotherapy is a gentle, relaxing way to create positive change by working with your subconscious mind — the part that stores habits, emotions, and automatic responses.

It uses the therapeutic technique of hypnosis, which is simply a natural, relaxed, focused state - a bit like being fully absorbed in a film or a good book or lost in thought or daydreaming. In this state, your subconscious mind is more open to helpful suggestions, making it easier to shift patterns and beliefs that might be holding you back.

During a session you are always in control and you won’t be asleep or ‘under’, you will be completely aware throughout. You are however, likely to be in a deeply relaxed state. Rest assured that I am not able to make you do anything that you do not want to do, so no you wont be clucking like a chicken (unless you want to!).

Hypno-Slim & Weight Management
You've tried every diet going. You manage to loose a few kgs but but they don't stay off for long. You are sick and tired of the vicious yo-yo cycle you find yourself in. STOP. Hypno-Slim is a 6 week programme that is designed to change your food mindset. There is no diet with this programme, after all you already know how to diet! This programme consists of 6 one hour sessions. There is an optional Virtual Gastric Band available at the end of the programme (additional fee applies).
Smoking Cessation
Tried to give up on your own but willpower is simply not enough? Let me help you stop smoking tobacco or vaping today. Just take a moment to think about the positive impact this decision will have on your health and your finances. After all you know that you want to be here for your kids and grandkids and you want to be able to afford the things that you want to do. This is programme consists of 2 one hour sessions.
Anxiety
Is anxiety stopping you doing or enjoying the things you want to do? Honestly it doesn't have to be this way! This programme starts with an initial 4 one hour sessions looking at the underlying causes of your anxiety, how it manifests and ways in which to reduce it. Additional sessions can be added to the programme if required.
Stress
Are you suffering from the effects of stress? Do you want to find a better way? A way to effectively manage your day to day stress and reduce it and the impact that it is having on you life and health? This programme starts with an initial 4 one hour sessions looking at your particular stress triggers and responses then ways to manage and reprogram you system and its stress responses. Sounds good doesn't it? Just think how things will be when you get your stress under control or even removed altogether! Additional sessions can be added to the programme if required.
Phobia or Fear
Is a phobia or fear stopping you in your tracks? Let's tackle that phobia or fear together and remove the grip that it has on you. This programme starts with an initial 4 one hour sessions looking at the fear or phobia and going back to the root cause of it. Once we understand the fear and where is manifested we can then work to dial it down and remove it. Additional sessions can be added to this programme if required.
Pain Management
Is pain controlling you and your life? You've tried all the different pain killers but they are not effective? What if I told you that we can work together to understand your pain and dial it right down? Sounds good eh? This programme starts with an initial 4 one hour sessions to really get under the pain and start to manage it. Additional sessions can be added if required.
General Hypnotherapy

Hypno Birthing
Imagine welcoming your new baby into the world in a calm and relaxed way. Sound good right? This private 6 session course works with you and your birth partner to prepare you for the birth of your child using hypnotherapy to help manage the pain and the process. To book on for this course please contact me after your 20 week scan so we can book you in to commence at approximately 30 weeks. If you have a close friend who is pregnant at the same time and your dates are close it may be possible for you to do the course together. This course should not be viewed as antenatal care and you should follow all the NHS guidance and ensure you are booked in with a local NHS midwife.
