EMDR

EMDR Therapy – A Gentle Path to Healing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a powerful yet gentle therapy that helps you process difficult experiences, ease emotional pain, and feel more like yourself again. It’s especially helpful for those carrying the weight of past trauma, anxiety, or painful memories that just don’t seem to fade. Whether it’s something big and overwhelming, or smaller events that have built up over time, EMDR can help you move forward in a safe and supported way. ________________________________________ How Does EMDR Work? When something distressing happens, your brain doesn’t always process it in the way it should—leaving emotional “stuck points” that can cause anxiety, low mood, or reactivity later on. EMDR helps to gently unlock and reprocess these memories using a technique called bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements or tapping). You don’t have to go into great detail or retell everything—just enough to allow your brain to do the healing work it naturally knows how to do. Clients often describe EMDR as feeling like their mind finally had the chance to ‘file away’ old memories properly — bringing a deep sense of calm and relief. ________________________________________ What Can EMDR Help With? EMDR is widely used in the UK and recommended by the NHS and NICE for trauma and PTSD. But it can also support many other emotional struggles, including: •Anxiety and stress •Panic attacks •Childhood trauma •Grief and loss •Phobias and fears •Low self-esteem and confidence issues •Distressing thoughts or flashbacks •Feeling stuck or overwhelmed ________________________________________ What to Expect in a Session EMDR is a structured process, but it’s always adapted to your pace and comfort. In the beginning, we’ll focus on building trust, safety, and emotional tools to help you feel grounded. When you're ready, we’ll move gently into the EMDR work together. Sessions are calm, collaborative, and led by your needs—there’s no pressure to “dig deep” before you’re ready. ________________________________________ Why Choose EMDR? •You don’t have to keep reliving the past •It works even when words are hard to find •It offers long-lasting emotional relief •It helps you reconnect with a calmer, more confident version of yourself ________________________________________ Let’s Take the Next Step Together If something in you knows it’s time to heal, EMDR can offer a way forward. You don’t have to go it alone. Together, we’ll create a safe space for change, where your healing happens gently, one step at a time.

EFT Tapping

EFT Tapping – Gentle Support for Mind and Body EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often called tapping, is a simple yet powerful self-help tool that helps calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, and release emotional stress. It’s like acupuncture for the emotions—but instead of needles, we use gentle fingertip tapping on specific points on the face and upper body. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a way to feel more balanced, EFT offers a soothing and empowering approach to emotional wellbeing. ________________________________________ How Does EFT Work? EFT combines elements of modern psychology with ancient acupressure. While gently tapping on certain meridian points, you bring awareness to the issue you're facing—such as stress, self-doubt, a fear, or a past experience—using simple, calming phrases. This process sends a signal to the brain and body that you're safe, helping to reduce the intensity of difficult emotions and shift unhelpful patterns. Many people describe it as a “reset button” for emotional overwhelm—a way to feel lighter, clearer, and more in control. ________________________________________ What Can EFT Help With? EFT is wonderfully versatile and can be used for a wide range of emotional and physical challenges, including: •Anxiety and overwhelm •Stress and burnout •Low self-esteem or confidence issues •Fear of public speaking or social anxiety •Emotional eating or cravings •Phobias and fears •Unresolved trauma or painful memories •Sleep difficulties •Feeling stuck or blocked EFT is growing in popularity across the UK because it's easy to learn, non-invasive, and can be used anytime—on your own or with a practitioner. ________________________________________ What to Expect in a Session EFT sessions are relaxed, supportive, and completely tailored to you. We’ll talk about what’s coming up for you, and I’ll guide you through gentle tapping rounds as we explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns you’d like to shift. You remain fully clothed, seated, and in control the entire time. Many clients feel noticeably calmer, more grounded, and emotionally lighter even after just one session. ________________________________________ Why Try EFT? •It’s gentle, safe, and deeply calming •You don’t have to relive painful memories in detail •It empowers you with tools you can use anytime •It’s backed by growing research and used worldwide •It supports emotional healing at your own pace ________________________________________ You Deserve to Feel Better Whatever you're carrying right now, EFT offers a kind and effective way to move through it. You don’t have to push it down or power through—there is space here to pause, breathe, and gently shift what’s no longer serving you.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness – Coming Home to the Present Moment Mindfulness is the simple (but powerful) practice of bringing your attention to the here and now—with kindness, curiosity, and without judgment. In a world that moves fast and often feels overwhelming, mindfulness offers a way to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. It’s not about clearing your mind or “doing it perfectly.” It’s about learning to gently notice your thoughts, emotions, and sensations as they arise—so you can respond with more calm, clarity, and self-compassion. ________________________________________ How Does Mindfulness Help? Many of us spend so much time in our heads—worrying about the future, replaying the past, or feeling caught in a loop of stress and self-criticism. Mindfulness helps break that cycle by gently bringing us back to what’s happening right now. Over time, mindfulness can help you: •Feel less anxious and more grounded •Reduce stress and overwhelm •Improve sleep and focus •Build emotional resilience •Develop greater patience and self-acceptance •Create space between you and your thoughts It’s a practice of slowing down and being present with yourself—just as you are. ________________________________________ What Can Mindfulness Support? Mindfulness can be a powerful companion to many emotional or mental health challenges, including: •Anxiety and overthinking •Low mood and depression •Burnout or overwhelm •Difficulty sleeping •Self-criticism and perfectionism •Feeling disconnected or “on autopilot” Whether you’re looking for a new daily habit or a deeper sense of inner peace, mindfulness offers a gentle yet transformative way to reconnect. ________________________________________ What to Expect in a Mindfulness Session In a mindfulness session or course, we’ll explore simple, guided practices such as mindful breathing, body awareness, and gentle movement or meditation. There’s no pressure to sit still for long or to ‘get it right’—this is a supportive space to explore what works for you. You’ll learn tools to bring mindfulness into everyday life—whether that’s making a cup of tea, walking the dog, or navigating a difficult moment. ________________________________________ Why Try Mindfulness? •It’s simple, accessible, and kind to your nervous system •It helps you feel more present and less reactive •It’s rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science •It supports healing, self-awareness, and emotional balance •It can be done anywhere, at any time ________________________________________ You Don’t Have to Keep Rushing Through Life Mindfulness offers a gentle reminder: you are allowed to pause. You are allowed to breathe. You are allowed to show up just as you are. If you’re ready to feel more present, calm, and connected, mindfulness can be a beautiful place to start.

Relaxation

Relaxation – A Space to Unwind and Reconnect In the busyness of everyday life, it’s easy to forget how to truly relax. Our minds are constantly switched on, our bodies tense, and our nervous systems stuck in “go” mode. Relaxation isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. It’s how we reset, restore, and return to ourselves. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just tired to the bone, relaxation practices offer a way to gently slow down and breathe again. ________________________________________ What is Relaxation Therapy? Relaxation support is about creating time and space for your body and mind to rest—on a deep, healing level. Sessions may include a blend of techniques such as: •Guided relaxation or meditation •Breathing exercises •Gentle body awareness •Soothing visualisations •Sound, scent, or calming touch (if applicable) These practices help shift you out of the “fight or flight” stress response and into a state of calm, where true healing and restoration can begin. ________________________________________ Why Relaxation Matters When you’re always “on,” stress builds up in the body and mind—affecting sleep, mood, focus, and overall wellbeing. Taking time to relax isn’t selfish—it’s one of the most supportive things you can do for yourself. Relaxation can help you: •Sleep more deeply •Ease anxiety and tension •Lower blood pressure and heart rate •Improve mood and emotional balance •Boost energy and clarity •Feel more grounded and present ________________________________________ What to Expect in a Relaxation Session Sessions are calm, supportive, and entirely tailored to you. You’ll be gently guided through practices that help you let go, unwind, and deeply rest. You don’t need to “do” anything or achieve a particular state—just show up as you are and let the space hold you. Whether you’re lying down with a cosy blanket or sitting quietly with a warm cup of tea nearby, the focus is on comfort, calm, and care. ________________________________________ Make Time for Stillness Relaxation isn’t about escaping—it’s about returning to yourself. In a world that rarely pauses, giving yourself this space can be deeply nourishing. If your body is tired, your mind is racing, or your heart just needs a little more ease… you’re in the right place.

Embodiment

Embodiment – Reconnecting with Yourself Through the Body In a world that often pulls us into our heads—thinking, analysing, planning—embodiment invites us back into the body. It’s the gentle, powerful practice of listening to ourselves from the inside out. Embodiment means tuning into your breath, your posture, your movement, your energy. It’s about reconnecting with the sensations, emotions, and wisdom that live in your body—and letting them guide you toward more presence, ease, and authenticity. You don’t have to “get it right.” This is about being real, not perfect. ________________________________________ What is Embodiment? At its core, embodiment is about being in your body—not just as a physical form, but as a source of insight, expression, and self-trust. In sessions, we might explore: •Grounding and breath awareness to calm the nervous system •Embodied movement practices that help you shift, express, or release emotion •Music-led explorations where you move freely, intuitively, and without judgement •Stillness and reflection to notice how your body responds to life •Somatic enquiry—gently exploring what your body might be trying to say This kind of movement isn’t choreographed or about how it looks—it’s about how it feels to move as you. It can be playful, tender, energising, or deeply healing. ________________________________________ Why Work with Embodiment? So often, we override or disconnect from what our bodies are telling us. We push through stress, ignore boundaries, or stay in our heads. Over time, that can lead to anxiety, tension, burnout, or a sense of disconnection from ourselves. Embodiment helps you come home to yourself. It can help you: •Feel more grounded and emotionally regulated •Express feelings you’ve struggled to name or release •Build self-trust, resilience, and body awareness •Heal patterns held in the body from stress or trauma •Connect with joy, play, creativity, and sensuality •Make decisions that feel aligned, not forced Whether you’re gently swaying to music, lying in stillness, or stomping it out on the floor—this is a space to feel what’s true, and let it move through you. ________________________________________ Who is Embodiment For? Embodiment is for every body. You don’t need to be fit, flexible, or “into movement.” You just need a willingness to be curious, and to show up for yourself with kindness. It’s especially helpful if you: •Spend a lot of time in your head and want to reconnect with your body •Feel stuck, overwhelmed, or emotionally blocked •Are healing from stress, trauma, or disconnection •Want to move, express, and feel more fully alive •Crave a deeper relationship with your inner world Sessions are always paced gently and adapted to suit you—whether you want to move to music, lie in stillness, shake it all out, or find grounding in breath. ________________________________________ This is an Invitation to Come Back to You You don’t need to figure everything out with your mind. Your body already knows so much—and when you learn to listen, life can start to feel more spacious, more grounded, and more you. If you’re curious to explore embodied movement, guided exercises with music, and ways to feel more connected and alive in your own skin—this space is for you.

Meditation

Meditation – A Moment of Stillness in a Busy World Meditation is the practice of gently bringing your attention inward—away from the noise and demands of daily life, and towards a sense of calm, clarity, and presence. It’s not about “emptying your mind” or getting it right. It’s about simply being with yourself, just as you are, with kindness and curiosity. Whether you're completely new to meditation or returning to it after a break, this space is here to support you in finding stillness, ease, and connection—one breath at a time. ________________________________________ Why Try Meditation? In a fast-paced world, our minds are often busy, distracted, or overwhelmed. Meditation offers a gentle pause—a way to slow down, reconnect, and feel more at home within yourself. With regular practice, meditation can help you: •Feel less anxious and more present •Manage stress and emotional ups and downs •Improve focus and sleep •Develop patience and self-compassion •Create a sense of inner steadiness and calm It’s a simple practice, but its impact can be truly life-changing. ________________________________________ What to Expect in a Meditation Session Meditation sessions are welcoming and relaxed—no pressure, no judgment. You’ll be gently guided through practices such as: •Mindful breathing •Body awareness •Loving-kindness (compassion) meditation •Visualisation or grounding •Gentle reflection or silence You don’t need any experience or special equipment—just a quiet space, a little time, and a willingness to explore. ________________________________________ Who is Meditation For? Meditation is for everyone. You don’t need to be spiritual, bendy, or super zen. Whether you’re looking for emotional support, a clearer mind, or a deeper sense of peace, meditation offers something for anyone open to slowing down. It’s especially supportive if you’re: •Feeling stressed, anxious, or burnt out •Struggling to switch off or sleep •Caught in negative thinking •Longing for more balance, clarity, or inner calm ________________________________________ Come As You Are You don’t need to fix anything before you begin. Meditation is a space to gently meet yourself—thoughts, feelings, and all—and to discover the quiet wisdom and calm that’s already within you.

Mentoring

Mentoring – Encouragement, Insight, and a Steady Hand on Your Journey Mentoring is a supportive relationship rooted in guidance, shared experience, and meaningful reflection. It offers a safe space to explore where you are, where you’re heading, and how to move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Whether you’re navigating a period of change, seeking personal growth, or wanting support as you build something new — mentoring brings direction, care, and insight to the path ahead. _______________________________ What is Mentoring? Mentoring is more than a chat or a sounding board—it’s a guided, intentional relationship where you’re supported by someone who’s walked a similar road and can offer a clearer perspective. Unlike coaching, where the process is often client-led and exploratory, mentoring offers more structure, direction, and encouragement based on experience. That might look like sharing practical advice, offering perspective, helping you spot patterns, or gently guiding you toward your next step. Together, we might explore: •Where you’re feeling stuck or unsure •What’s next for you—personally, professionally, or emotionally •Tools for building confidence, resilience, and boundaries •Navigating transitions or new chapters •Developing your voice, values, or vision ________________________________________ Mentoring vs Coaching – What’s the Difference? While both mentoring and coaching offer powerful support, they do so in different ways: CoachingMentoring Client-led and exploratoryMentor-led with gentle direction and structure Focuses on drawing insight from the clientOffers lived experience, perspective & guidance Emphasises open-ended questioningInvolves suggestion, reflection, and encouragement Often goal-oriented or solution-focusedRooted in relationship, insight, and support over time The coach holds space neutrallyThe mentor walks alongside with empathy and perspective In short, coaching helps you uncover your own answers; while mentoring helps you find your way with a bit more guidance along the path. ________________________________________ What Can Mentoring Help With? Mentoring can support you if you’re: •At a life or career crossroads •Feeling a bit lost, overwhelmed, or “in-between” •Craving clarity, reassurance, or a sounding board •Exploring purpose, direction, or creative ideas •Working through fear, doubt, or people-pleasing patterns •Ready to grow, but unsure where or how to begin Whether it’s personal, professional, or something in-between—mentoring offers a compassionate space to reflect and move forward. ________________________________________ What to Expect in a Mentoring Session Mentoring sessions are relaxed but purposeful. You’ll be supported with a mix of reflection, conversation, encouragement, and practical guidance. You’re free to show up exactly as you are—there’s no pressure, only a sense of care, direction, and clarity. We might explore themes over time, set intentions, or simply talk things through with fresh eyes. Each session is shaped around what you need most in the moment. ________________________________________ You’re Not Meant to Figure It All Out Alone Mentoring is here when you need a clearer view, a trusted voice, and someone who truly listens. It’s for the times when you’re ready to move forward—but could use a bit of support as you do. If you're feeling the pull toward clarity, change, or deeper connection with yourself, I’m here to walk with you.
